First Congregational United Church of Christ

The Reverend Douglas Clark will begin his service at First Church begins on October 9, and his first day in worship will be Sunday, October 14. There will be a Nurture immediately following worship on that day, so that First Churchers will have an opportunity to get to know Rev. Clark. Rev. Clark is currently serving as Interim Senior Pastor at University Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Hyattsville, MD. Ordained in the United Church of Christ in 1975, he has served congregations in Massachusetts, Maine, and Southern California. Since 2001, the focus has been that of intentional interim ministry. Rev. Clark is married to the Rev. Dr. Mary Moschella, who is an Associate Professor of Pastoral Theology and Congregational Care at Wesley Theological Seminary. They reside in Kensington, MD with their two children. Rev. Clark has two adult daughters and two grandchildren.
