Preacher: Harry Knox is a member of First Congregational Church. Harry is the founding director of the Religion and Faith Program of the Human Rights Campaign, the nation’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender advocacy organization. He served on President Obama’s first Council on Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships. He and his husband Mike Bozeman live in Silver Spring, MD.

Lay Leader: Nancy Withbroe was born into the UCC and has been a member of this congregation since 1997. She will soon be joining the fundraising staff of Share Our Strength, a national nonprofit working to end childhood hunger in America by 2015. She lives with her husband Paul Smolinsky and their two boys in Takoma Park, MD.
